Dear BFFs,
There is something about a table that brings us together.
We gather around it to eat, of course, but also to talk, laugh, tell stories, pass dishes, pour another glass, and sometimes simply linger a little longer.
Especially at Thanksgiving.
For us, the beauty of the table has never been about making it perfect. It’s about creating a place where people feel welcome.
Flowers gathered loosely in a favourite vessel. Food made to be shared. Candlelight as the afternoon fades. A table that becomes a little more beautiful as the evening unfolds — and the evidence of gathering begins to show.
This is the heart of The Gathered Table.
For Thanksgiving, we’ve created a collection of seasonal centrepieces and bouquets inspired by the colours, textures, and abundance of the autumn landscape — designed to sit naturally among the food, conversation, and people around the table.
And this year, we’re extending the table a little further.
Through our Pick a Pumpkin, Feed a Family campaign, every $22 heirloom pumpkin purchased at Bloomfields provides a full meal for one family in need through the Ottawa Food Bank.
Choose one pumpkin — or two or three — and help another family gather around their table this season.
Take yours home to enjoy, add one to a flower delivery, or send one to someone you love. However you choose to participate, a simple seasonal gesture becomes something much more meaningful.
Because the beauty of a gathered table should reach beyond our own.
However Thanksgiving looks for you this year — with family, friends, neighbours, or a little of each — we hope there are flowers, good food, meaningful conversation, and time enough to linger.
