The mornings are cooler, the light fades earlier, and home begins to call us in.
This is the time of year when I find myself adding layers again. A blanket over the back of a chair. A beautiful sheepskin on a bench or favourite seat. Something soft at the end of the bed. A little more warmth and texture in the rooms where we spend our evenings.
Small changes, but they make a difference.
I’ve always loved things that are both beautiful and useful—objects that earn their place in our homes because we reach for them again and again.
A good blanket is one of those things.
This fall, we’ve gathered a beautiful selection from Meraki, Klippan, House of Juniper, and Foxford, alongside natural sheepskins that bring their own warmth and texture to a room.
Some of our blankets are just as lovely wrapped around your shoulders as they are draped over a favourite chair—part blanket, part wrap, and an easy layer to carry from home to outdoors.
These are pieces to use, not simply admire.
As the season draws us further indoors, getting cozy is simply another way of making home feel good.
Add a layer. Light a candle. Put the kettle on.
And settle in.
Until next time, may you find beauty in the everyday. with love, Virginia & Jamie Bloomfields Beautiful Living, Naturally.
