The chocolate is made by partners Ariane and Erik Hansen, and their small team with care at every step.
From cacao bean to finished bar, every step is done with care. The beans are cleaned, gently roasted in a century-old roaster, cracked and winnowed, then slowly ground between granite stones for several days. Finally, the chocolate is carefully tempered and molded into bars—bringing out its smooth texture, complex flavour, and satisfying snap.
