One of my favourite things about summer is the light.
It lingers a little longer, softening the edges of the day and quietly changing every room it touches.
If you've ever watched poppies throughout the day, you'll know they never seem to sit still. They open. They turn toward the light. They sway almost as if they're dancing.
Our latest video captures this beautiful rhythm in time-lapse, reminding us that flowers are never static—they're wonderfully alive.
One of my favourite ways to arrange them is with a flower frog. By giving each stem its own space, every bloom can find its natural place, creating movement that feels effortless and true to the garden.
This season, we’ve gathered a thoughtful collection of brass flower frogs and vessels that give each stem room to move, breathe, and be noticed.
A FEW SUMMER RITUALS
Three simple ways to settle into the season:
• Take your morning coffee outdoors.
• Gather a few stems from the garden and place them in a favourite vessel.
• Set the table, light a lantern, and linger a little longer as the evening unfolds.
Sometimes all you need is one flower, a beautiful vessel, and the afternoon light.
