Dear BFFs,
September always feels like a return.
There’s a shift in the air and in the light. Routines begin again. Friends reconnect. Communities gather. And after the openness of summer, our attention slowly turns toward home.
At Bloomfields, we’re feeling that shift too.
Our shops are very much in transition as we prepare for a new season — new arrivals, creative shifts, and making space for what comes next.
It’s one of my favourite parts of the year. Slowly, a new energy begins to emerge.
This fall, our new chapter is called Coming Home.
At its heart is a simple idea: the comfort of returning to the things that make a place feel like home.
Warm, lived-in spaces. Natural materials and useful, beautiful objects. Branches gathered from the landscape and flowers allowed to move as they would in nature. Tables shared with friends. Quieter days and familiar rituals that bring us together.
The palette is restrained — limestone, parchment, moss, olive, weathered wood and charcoal — leaving room for nature to provide the colour.
One dahlia. A branch turning rust. A hydrangea beginning to dry.
Simple signs of a season changing.
Our Fall Chapter and collections will launch on the first day of autumn, September 22. But as a BFF, we’d love to invite you in a little earlier.
