Dear BFF

We hope that you are settling into 2018 nicely and able to embrace this truly Canadian winter. While tempting to wish this time of year away (-40?!), these crisp days bring a feeling of invigoration and beauty like no other. Outdoors, we may find solitude while walking in the stillness of a gentle snowfall, blissfulness while skiing on a snowy trail, and exhilaration on a blustery day. Indoors, we have the opportunity to create cozy spaces, made snug, for everyday living and warm and lively gatherings with friends and family.

This season at Bloomfields our inspiration is 'Home Retreat'. With a new year comes an opportunity to renew, refresh and recreate beautiful spaces for meaningful experiences. At both our shops and homes, this means designing inviting vignettes with our new lines of furniture (Kristoff and Olindo Chair), local art (Laura Langford moons, Kathrin Von Dehn Designs), blankets, gorgeous lamps and more. All of these accented with an amazing selection of plants, trees, terrariums and flowers that hold the promise of new seasons to come. Revisit your entire home/cabin, or simply a single room or corner, with fresh eyes. Set a tone that makes you feel happy, warm and inspired.
