We’re happy to share some of the exciting happenings going on at Bloomfields.
The last few years have been challenging and have included many pivots and changes. So much so, that we have thought long and hard about what is most important to ourselves and our business.
Through and through we are committed to showcasing the most inspiring design styles and creating meaningful connections for creative minds. That means sharing our love and passion for flowers, plants, and design with our community of family, friends, and customers. We call it Beautiful Living, Naturally.
To this purpose, we are launching the first of an ongoing series of Maker & Design demonstrations for our Bloomfields community. These will feature our own talented Designers and local Makers showcasing expert skills and techniques to inspire and spark imagination.
This Sunday, May 5th, at 1 PM, we invite you to our Glebe shop (783 Bank Street) to watch one of our favourite local artists, Kathrin von Dehn, demonstrate how to make beautiful pottery birds, pots, and flowers. Alongside, we will demonstrate how to design spring floral arrangements using flower frogs and seasonal accents.
Kathrin’s one-of-a-kind creations, and the tools to create your own floral designs, will be available in shop as well as other carefully selected gift ideas, just in time for Mother’s Day- fast approaching, Sunday, May 12th!
